Cordell ASR Technology Ltd is very pleased to achieve  the award of Siemens Safety Specialist. This is the result of  many years of working   together with Siemens on several successful projects.  Safety is a priority for many of our clients and this partnership has given  CASR the opportunity to deliver  Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) that meet regulatory requirements  and deliver value all within our clients budgets. CASR have been through a stringent Audit process by Siemens from Germany  to ensure we can deliver in   accordance with the functional safety lifecycle. 

We have delivered SIS systems  in some of the most demanding environments in the UK and overseas, on many different applications, including Oil and Gas, Chemical, Incineration, Nuclear and Power    Generation sectors. We have recently delivered one of the largest PCS7 and SIS integrated applications in the UK on a gas storage plant. CASR has the capability to deliver SIS up to SIL 3. The  engineering team  have regularly worked on projects in conjunction with IEC 61508 functional safety of electrical, electronic and programmable electronic safety related systems. Focussed on IEC 61511 functional safety of safety instrumented systems for the process industry sector.  CASR have made a significant investment in training and development, our  SIS team includes engineers that have  completed the SIRA training programme to ensure they are  competent and qualified to deliver  safety related systems.

Cordell ASR has been working in partnership with Siemens for the last 20 years, and this latest accreditation further cements our status as one of the UK’s Siemens premier PCS7 and SIS integrators. Coupled with this CASR are also currently going through the CASS (Conformity Assessment of safety related system) accreditations from SIRA. This independent and nationally recognised endorsement will give the engineering team at CASR the ability to formally certify and verify the SIS implementations that we deliver. This gives us a set of differentiators that are difficult to find in an independent company, and allows our clients to receive independent SIS validation in parallel with the OEM manufacturer.
